Pickleball in Bryan, OH
Bryan's pickleball activity centers on six free, dedicated outdoor courts at East End Park. The city also runs seasonal clinics and a tournament there, while the adjacent Williams County Family YMCA supplies an indoor gym option during colder weather.
Where to Play Pickleball in Bryan
East End Park
1400 East High Street, Bryan, OH 43506. Six dedicated outdoor hard courts have permanent pickleball lines, permanent nets, and lighting. Play is free, and the park is accessible. The 33-acre site also includes East End Pool, parking, a baseball diamond, basketball court, playground, and pavilion. Because this is Bryan's only six-court regulation setup, it attracts the city's open play, clinics, and tournament activity.
Williams County Family YMCA
1 Faber Drive, Bryan, OH 43506. The YMCA sits beside Bryan Recreation Park and provides indoor gym space used for pickleball. The facility includes restrooms, locker rooms, a pool, sauna, fitness center, and day-pass access. It is the local bad-weather alternative rather than the primary summer destination. Call 419-636-6185 for gym access.
Pickleball Lessons in Bryan
Bryan Parks and Recreation scheduled two city pickleball clinics for 2026: Session I at 9:00 a.m. on June 6 and Session II at 9:00 a.m. on August 15, both tied to the East End Park program. These outdoor clinics use the dedicated courts and are the most direct local introduction to rules, strokes, and game play. For individual instruction outside the city sessions, use the Coaches section.
Leagues and Pickleball Events
The city's 2026 spring and summer calendar includes an 8:00 a.m. pickleball tournament on May 30, followed by the June 6 and August 15 clinics. East End Park's six adjacent courts allow divisions and round robins to run without borrowing tennis space. Bryan Parks and Recreation handles local registration at 419-633-6030.
Tips for Visiting Players
East End Park is the clear first choice: all six courts are free, lighted, and equipped with permanent nets, so visitors only need paddles and outdoor balls. Use 1400 East High Street rather than the Parks office across the road. The pool, playground, basketball court, and pavilion make the park practical for families. In winter or rain, the Williams County YMCA is next to Recreation Park and sells day passes for facility access.
